About the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship

SUNYCUAD will award up to three Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarships for 2024 to an applicant from a SUNYCUAD member institution. Scholarships cover the registration fee and hotel cost for the awardee. The scholarship recognizes an advancement professional who displays leadership in fostering diversity, equity and inclusion within the profession, on their campus and/or within the surrounding community. Preference will be given to applicants who come from underrepresented populations, including but not limited to those identified by gender, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, and/or physical and mental capabilities.

What to submit and how

  • Submit a cover sheet that includes your name, local title, campus name, phone, fax and email address plus your immediate supervisor, that person’s title and email address.

    • What steps you have taken to advance your professional development?
    • What value would you derive from the SUNYCUAD Educational Conference?
    • What would your campus gain from your participation in the SUNYCUAD Educational Conference?
  • Attach your up-to-date professional resume.
  • Meet the application deadline of Feb. 29, 2024. No exceptions will be made. All application materials must be sent by e-mail. Send the (1) cover sheet, (2) essay and (3) updated resume to:
