Job Description:

Serving in the capacity as the Alumni Outreach Coordinator, this person will serve as the key member of the development team and will participate in the planning, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive annual giving, alumni giving and alumni relations program that serves a constituency of nearly 24,000 living alumni. Working in coordination with the Assistant Vice President of Development, this individual will provide support for existing outreach programs and will be tasked with implementing new strategies that will heighten alumni engagement and increase the number of gifts from alumni of the institution.

Assist with planning and execution of numerous on- and off-campus Alumni Association events and committees that promote alumni engagement and giving including, but not limited to:

Wildcat Weekend (homecoming and reunion weekend) Foundational Invitational Golf Tournament Regional Alumni Association Events Admissions Alumni Ambassador Program Alumni Committee Assists with the planning, creation and distribution of multiple Alumni Association and Foundation publications, solicitations and mailings:

All Annual Fund solicitation pieces (direct mail, email, web, social media) The Bridge annual magazine Assists with management of Alumni Association social media and webpages Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization Must be an exceptional manager of student employees Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must be insurable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills Willingness to work evenings, weekends, overnights and travel Applicants must address in their applications their abilities to work with a culturally diverse population.  This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
