More than 24 dynamic workshop speakers have been confirmed for SUNYCUAD’s upcoming educational conference June 5 to 7 at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington in Melville, N.Y. To review presenters’ bios and peruse a list of the workshops you’ll be able to choose from, visit the conference website.
We’re very excited about our outstanding plenary sessions with David Pogue of The New York Times, Sree Sreevinansan of CNET, and Michael Bierut of Pentagram. Recently added workshops include: “Use RebelMouse, Storify and Sprout Social to increase your Facebook and Twitter Engagement” by David Regan White of Empire State College and “Move Over Nordstrom: Building the Best Customer Service Program on the Planet” by Randy Burge of Stamats Higher Education Marketing. Don’t miss out – register today!
On Wednesday, June 5, there will be a newcomer reception followed by our conference dinner at the Hilton. Pack your flip-flops because on Thursday, June 6, we’ll head to the beach for a Long Island clambake with SUNY colleagues and friends. On Friday, June 7, SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher visits the conference to inspire us.
Consider signing up for a cruise along the Great South Bay on Friday night from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Cruises are provided by Captree Boat Basin, West Islip. Entertainment will be provided by Tony Sidito. The cost is $40. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot by June 4. The best way to see the South Shore lighthouses is from the water. Contact Farmingdale State College Alumni Relations at 631-420-2369 or 631-724-6218 for more information.
Why not make it a mini-vacation? The Hilton has extended its discounted rates for SUNYCUAD attendees throughout the weekend

We look forward to seeing everyone. Watch the SUNYCUAD website for more updates.
