2015 SUNYCUAD Educational Conference

“Do not…keep children to their studies by compulsion, but by play.”

– Plato

As children, life was so simple.
Our cares were few.
We had no publications to print, events to plan, or donors to solicit.
We didn’t worry about media deadlines, state budgets or enrollment targets.
We just wanted to Imagine.  Invent.  Explore.

We had an unwavering focus.
Free of paradigms.  Limitations.  Rules.

At its core, playing is learning — at its best.
It teaches us Creativity. Problem solving.  Stick-to-it-iveness.  Cooperation and teamwork.
And in today’s higher ed sandbox, we need those skills more than ever.

On June 3-5, SUNYCUAD will welcome its members to Rochester

Home of the Strong National Museum of Play and the National Toy Hall of Fame!

Don’t miss this year’s SUNYCUAD Conference: June 3-5, 2015.

Hear from senior executives with major corporations, marketing communication agencies, higher education industry experts and fellow SUNY colleagues. Keynote speakers will include Bob Hambly, Partner at Hambly & Woolley in Toronto, Canada, as well as SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher.

In all, more than 30 sessions and events will be available to you, covering Alumni Relations, Branding, Crisis Communications, Development, Digital Media, Government Relations, Marketing and Research, Public Relations, Publications and much more.

And it will all be capped off with a memorable evening at the one-and-only Strong National Museum of Play, where you’ll jump back in time to re-live some of your favorite childhood memories.

Together, we’ll relive our youth — and reawaken those simpler days.

And though you might not realize it at the time…

We bet you’ll learn a thing or two along the way.
