Dutchess Community College’s Diana Pollard Recognized as Outstanding Fundraising Professional

On November 10, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter recognized Diana Pollard ’97 with the Outstanding Fundraising Professional award at their National Philanthropy Day celebration.

This prestigious award honors an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization. Diana is an advancement professional with more than 27 years of fundraising experience in the fields of higher education, social services, and animal welfare.

Since 2014 she has served as Executive Director of the DCC Foundation, growing the Foundation’s assets from $9.6 million to $13.1 million in 2020. The fundraising initiatives she has implemented have resulted in the Foundation ranking in the top 10 among SUNY community colleges and receiving a 2019 CASE Educational Fundraising Award.

Diana has been a SUNYCUAD Board member since 2014, serving as Board Secretary from 2015-2018. In addition, she was an Annual Conference Presenter in 2017, Annual Conference Co-Chair in 2019, and Program Co-Chair in 2020.
