13 Mar News: SUNYCUAD’s New Board Members – Part III
Meet new board members Courtney Sielaff and Cathy Williams.
Courtney Sielaff earned her bachelor of science degree in applied economics and management from Cornell University. She earned her master of science degree in student affairs administration from Binghamton University. She has worked in the field of higher education for five years both in student affairs and alumni engagement, most recently at Binghamton University where she serves as the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement. Currently, she facilitates the engagement of alumni through ten regional chapters and many affinity groups, as well as signature events such as Alumni Global Day of Service and Binghamton in the City: a week of connections. Courtney was a presenter at the 2016 SUNYCUAD conference in Cooperstown.
Cathy Williams is executive director of the BBC Foundation, Inc. at SUNY Broome Community College. She has 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector with 12 of those years in leadership positions within higher education advancement. In her current role she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the College’s advancement initiatives that are housed within the foundation, including Development and Alumni Affairs. She also serves as editor of BROOME, the alumni magazine of SUNY Broome Community College.
Prior to joining SUNY Broome, Cathy spent five years as director of the Binghamton Fund and leadership giving at Binghamton University. She currently serves on the executive committee of the SUNY Chief Advancement Officers group and is an active member of the SUNY Community College Chief Advancement Officers group.
