11 Jan News: Call for conference speakers: Due date is Feb. 1
We're looking for great speakers to make the 2013 SUNYCUAD Educational Conference — YOUR conference — an enriching experience. In Long Island, we want a range of speakers able to address the many constituencies within SUNYCUAD, as well as those who can present comprehensive topics, case studies and interdisciplinary issues.
We seek participants for full 60-minute presentations as well as 20-minute roundtable sessions. In response to feedback we received from last year's conference-goers, we’ve decided to present some speakers whose presentations might be of broad interest twice. Attendees commented that they were sometimes unable to see a speaker they really wanted to see because that session conflicted with another workshop they were interested in attending.
Please consider submitting a speaker’s proposal if you feel you have a topic of interest to present. You are also welcome to tell colleagues about this opportunity or to suggest great presenters you’ve seen elsewhere. You can find the application online at our conference page. Deadline to submit a speaker’s proposal for the June 5-7 conference is Feb. 1, 2013.
