In news from SUNY Fredonia…
Teresa Adams, who has more than 15 years of experience in event/curriculum development, project and budget management and marketing, has been named office manager of the Fredonia College Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization that supports scholarships and programming at SUNY Fredonia.
Prior to her appointment in January, Adams was assistant director of the Department of Education and director of Special Studies at Chautauqua Institution. She had previously served as Department of Education program coordinator, event coordinator and corporate secretary at the renowned education center in Western New York. Adams also worked as an account executive in media sales.
Adams earned a bachelor of science degree in business management from Houghton College, Houghton, N.Y., and an associate applied science degree in marketing management from Jamestown Business College, Jamestown, N.Y.
Lori Deemer, whose expertise includes Web and print design, communications management, photography and social media for events and recruitment, joined the Public Relations Office in a part-time capacity as a graphic design/communication specialist in March.
She is continuing to serve the campus’ School of Music in a part-time capacity, where she has similar duties, and brings more than 11 years of experience in higher education and community-based, not-for-profit organizations to the Public Relations Office.
Deemer studied at the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a B.F.A. in Studio Art.
Erin Ehman joined the Public Relations Office as a graphic designer/production manager within its Publications Office in March. She has more than 10 years of professional graphic design experience, including the last six in higher education.
Before her appointment at SUNY Fredonia, Ehman served in Communications offices at both Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Fla., as well as the Athletics Department of Penn State University in State College, Pa. She also served as a graphic designer for Carolina Academic Press.
After studying graphic design with a concentration in fine art at SUNY Fredonia, Ehman earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at North Carolina State College of Design.
